DESCRIPTION A ready to use, liquid curing compound based on paraffin and also White Pigmented to substantially increase light reflectance to effectively prevent premature water loss from the concrete both due to heat of hydration and sunlight. USES Sika Antisol E (WP) is sprayed on to newly laid concrete surfaces to form a thin film barrier against premature water loss and thereby promote total cement hydration. It is particularly recommended for large areas of exposed concrete such as : Highways Runways and taxiways Aprons and hard standings Roof decks Canals linings CHARACTERISTICS / ADVANTAGES Sika Antisol E (WP) provides the following benefits: Reduces incidence plastic cracking Ensures achievement of designed strengths Minimises shrinkage Reduces surface dusting Eliminates expensive methods of curing such as hessian-watering, etc APPROVALS / STANDARDS ASTM C 309-89 Type 2 Class A PRODUCT INFORMATION Chemical Base Aqueous Wax Emulsion and Inorganic Pigment Packaging 20 kg, 100kg, 230kg Appearance / Colour White lump free liquid Shelf Life 6 months from date of production if stored properly in unopened original packaging. Storage Conditions Store in dry conditions at temperatures between +10C and +40C. Protect from direct sunlight and frost. Density 0.99 - 1.02 kg/l at 25C APPLICATION INFORMATION Consumption 0.10 to 0.20 kg/m2 depending on wind, humidity and temperature. Actual dosage to be finalised on the basis of site trials. APPLICATION Stir well Sika Antisol E (WP) before application. Apply uniformly on to the newly laid concrete as soon as the surface water evaporates. Apply preferably using low pressure sprayer uniformly on concrete surface. Brush/Roller application could consume more Sika Antisol E (WP) due to the very nature of the application. LIMITATIONS Remaining Sika Antisol E (WP) films must be removed prior to application of any screed, plaster or coatings on the concrete surface.
